Cytodiagnostics is proud to announce a strategic partnership with MedMira Inc., bringing their patented Rapid Vertical Flow (RVF) Technology™ to our global distribution network and customers through the Cytodiagnostics website.

Founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1993 by Hermes Chan and Carlina Hui, MedMira pioneered Rapid Vertical Flow technology and has established itself as a leader in rapid diagnostic testing. The company was among the first to develop a rapid HIV test approved by both the U.S. FDA and China's CFDA. Over the past two decades, MedMira has continued to advance RVF technology through the development of innovative HIV, syphilis (TP), and multiplex diagnostic platforms, with multiple devices receiving regulatory approvals, including Health Canada authorization.

This partnership combines Cytodiagnostics' expertise in nanoparticle manufacturing and assay development with MedMira's proven diagnostic device technology. Together, we are creating new opportunities for distributors and developers by offering a seamless pathway from advanced nanoparticle reagents and custom assay development to highly engineered, commercially proven vertical flow diagnostic devices.
